Crayon Crafts: A Supply Related Roundup

I have been in LOVE with the melty crayon art out there in blogworld recently so I thought it might be the perfect inspiration for the next supply related roundup. After all, crayons are cheap, you somehow always end up with broken ones and pieces of crayons to use in these projects, and they're just fun!

These are a few of my favorite crayon crafts...

GORGEOUS melted crayon art from 52 Kitchen Adventures

"black magic" crayon art tutorial for making cute doodles and cards like these from painting lilies

crayon batik tutorial (on paper) from Tempost on Craftster

crayon batik on fabric from Suzy's Artsy Craftsy Sitcom

recycled crayons (with just a muffin tin or silicone molds) - there are about a million tutorials and varieties you can create, but I really like these from Our Big Earth

okay, and these ones...
from The Silly Pearl

supposedly for kids, this is a tutorial for Valentine's Day wax paper and crayon hearts at Wee Share (but you all know, I love the kiddie crafts... I feel like lots of them are like little science experiments!)

crayon monograms! (I made one a million years ago, but never posted about it... oops) - but I LOVE this one from Ashley at Nesting Sticks, found via Chic and Cheap Nursery

hanging crayon hearts from Martha!

this was another project that made me think of doing a crayon-related roundup... V and Co. is one of my most favorite blogs and I just love this fall project!

another take on melted crayon art from Lindsey Daniella did it!

a freaking crayon wreath! I LOVE it! found it at Shannon Makes Stuff (I'm guessing Shannon made it? haha... I crack myself up sometimes! Also, it might be 3am. Maybe.)

I found this tutorial for making this crayon rubbing/embossing spiderweb at Splitcoast stampers... perfect for Halloween!

decorate plain candles with melted crayons! tutorial at Craft Chi

a crayon vase/centerpiece! part of a whole crayon art party of ideas at Party Frosting... I feel like if I threw a party like this for my next birthday, my friends would seriously not appreciate it....

another super-cute crayon container/centerpiece tutorial from The Celebration Shoppe

pointillist (melted) crayon art from Helping Little Hands

melted crayon watercolor art from Housing a Forest
